ecco una FAQ direttamente di Cavatore che risolve l'annoso problema della LOS dei Leader delle unità. Qui applicata alla carica, ovviamente viene applicata anche al tiro.
3) Charging and Line of Sight (FRB p31,MRB p9)
Q) When charging a unit, the Leader must be able to see it. Does the leader have a 90 degree arc of
sight or does the leader use the unit’s arc of sight?
A) Remember than the target unit has to lie within the front arc of the charging unit. So as long as
the target or part of it is within this arc and the leader can draw a LOS to it, this condition for
charging is satisfied. The leader model himself doesn't have a personal 90 degree front arc.
Significa che per caricare (o per il tiro) basta che l'unità bersaglio sia nell'arco frontale dell'unità che vuole caricare (o tirare) e nel contempo che il leader abbia LOS libera. Ma ecco la precisazione, il Leader NON ha un arco di vista di 90°.
Ciò significa che a meno che non ci siano ostacoli di qualche genere in mezzo, una unità che si trovi almeno parzialmente nell'arco frontale di un'altra unità può da quest'ultima essere caricata e bersagliata con armi da tiro.
